The online V55/4 form is commonly used by the DVLA to register new motor vehicles, that have already not been registered in the past. It is also used to apply for a first vehicle tax after purchase.

Since a few years, the v55/4 is now available online. You can therefore download the v55/4 form on our website, and print it. Then, you will have to fill it properly, and send it to the DVLA services (here the address : DVLA Swansea SA99 1BE).

Is the v55/4 application free ?

In most cases, vehicle registered for the first are subject to the payment of a fee, unless your vehicle appears in the list of vehicles first registration free of fee. This fee is generally £55.
