When should I claim on PDSA Pet Insurance?

How to claim on my PDSA pet insurance?
The are several steps to be taken to claim on your PDSA pet insurance :
- After going to your vet, you have to contact your PDSA pet insurance agent at this number : 0333 234 0599 (Monday to Friday from 8am to 8pm, Saturday from 9am to 2pm)
- Then you have to complete your sections of the PDSA pet insurance claim form. Make sure you date and firm the form following the last day of your pet's treatment.
- The second part of the form is to be completed by your vet, who will bring details concerning the treatment provided to your pet
- Attach to the PDSA pet insurance claim form relevant documents in support to your claim - such as your pet's clinical history and the invoices or receipts proving the amounts you have advanced.
How do I send my claim to PDSA Pet Insurance?

When will I receive the money for my PSDA pet insurance claim ?
In case your PDSA pet insurance claim is approved, the claims department should send you a cheque corresponding to the amount claimed (less items that are not covered by your insurance plan) within 10 working days (in normal circumstances).
What to do if my claim is rejected?
If your claim is rejected, you can always contact the Financial Ombudsman Service (0300 123 9123). You have to take action within a 6 months period - starting the date you received a negative answer for your claim.
