When should I claim on More Than Pet Insurance?

Before claiming on More Than Pet, you should always check what situations are covered by your pet insurance plan. Pet insurance claims concern in most cases vet fees, but not only. Death by accident or illness can also be included in some pet insurance deals, for which claims can be made. Situations in which a pet is lost or stolen can also be included in some pet insurance plans, making them valuable cases to ask for a compensation.

How to claim on More Than Pet?

The are several steps to be taken to claim on your More Than Pet insurance :

  • First of all, you should gather up your receipts or invoices and your vet medical notes. Copies of those will be asked by More Than Pet in addition to the claim form
  • Complete the first part More Than Pet claim form (you can download the version proposed here and print it)
  • Your vet will then need to fill in the second part of the form, giving details of the treatment made on your pet
  • You are free to add any other relevant evidence that could justify the reimbursement claimed
  • Scan and send all those files at the following email address : [email protected]
  • You can follow-up your More Than Pet claim using the claims tracker service (click here).

Good to know

You should as well provide your insurer an invoice / receipt of the treatment for which claim for.

What to do if my claim is rejected?

If your claim is rejected, you can always contact the Financial Ombudsman Service (0300 123 9123). You have to take action within a 6 months period - starting the date you received a negative answer for your claim.
